2025 Citizen of the Year Nominations

Nominations open June 1, 2025 and run till July 7, 2025.

We are excited to provide the Lac La Biche Region the opportunity to nominate a deserving person for Citizen of the Year 2025.  Nominations are open to those 18 and up.  Thank you for taking the time to complete this form.

Judging will be performed by the Lac La Biche & District Chamber of Commerce and members of the following community groups to ensure a fair and non biased choice of winner:

Lac La Biche County Council, Knights of Columbus, Heritage Society, PDCDS, Rotary Club, Filipino Canadian Association of Lac La Biche Alberta, and Native Friendship Center.

Judging of the Nominees will take the following into consideration: Nomination comments by the nominators, answers to questionnaire, and any supplementary documentations such as examples, letters of support, acknowledgements, etc.

All Nominees must live within the Lac La Biche Region.

The results of judging will announced to the public at the Fish Fry on July 31, 2025 at the McArthur Park. The chosen Nominee will be contacted July 14th.

Forms can also be picked up in person at the following 2 locations:

• Plamondon Festival Center from Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm.

• Lac La Biche Heritage Society from Monday to Thursday 10am to 2pm.
