2026 Nominations

Citizen of the Year

and

Senior Citizen of the Year

Nominations open May 15th and close July 10th, 2026

We are excited to work in partnership with the Lac La Biche Heritage Society to provide the Lac La Biche County Region the opportunity to nominate a deserving person for 2 categories of Citizen of the Year for 2026. There will be Citizen of the Year (age 19-55) and Senior Citizen of the Year (age 56+). 

Judging will be performed by several local organizations in collaboration:

Judging of the Nominees will take the following into consideration: Nomination comments by the nominators, answers to questionnaire, and any supplementary documentations such as examples, letters of support, acknowledgements, etc.

All Nominees must live within the Lac La Biche County Region.

The results of judging will be announced to the public at the Pow Wow Community Walleye Fish Fry on Thursday, July 30th, 2026 at the Community Hall in the Bold Centre that starts at 5 PM.

Walleye Fish Fry is sponsored by Goodfish Lake Business Corporation.

Admission to Walleye Fish Fry is $10 for Seniors and Youth, $15 for General.
